The Academy is a ministry of the Church, assisting our parents to effectively meet their God-given responsibility. Students of families not attending Fairview Baptist Church are welcomed on a space-available basis. The Academy is specifically oriented towards educating our children rather than evangelizing our community.
The Academy is not equipped to serve as a correctional facility for disobedient, unruly or wayward children. Respect for authority, consideration for others and their property, personal initiative, and self-control are essential qualities expected in each student.
Fairview Baptist Church is a fundamental independent Baptist Church that opposes the theological positions of liberal modernism, ecumenicalism, humanism, the charismatic movement, and New Age philosophy. Fairview Baptist Churchand thereby Fairview Baptist Christian Academystands without apology for the values and traditions of historic, Biblical Christianity, expressed in the Fairview Baptist Church Doctrinal Statement.
The educational philosophy of the Academy is based upon the biblical principle that all truth is Gods truth, and that His Word, the Bible, is authoritative and absolute. Each subject is taught from the Biblical perspective, equipping the student academically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially.
Attendance at FBCA is a privilege, not a right. FBCA is not merely a private academy, but a Christian academy, offering distinctively Christian education for levels Kindergarten through Grade 12 . An FBCA education prepares a student for college, for community, and for a life that honors the Lord. Individualized instruction, character training, and excellence in education are the hallmarks of the Academy.
ACCREDITATIONS AND AFFILIATIONS

STAFF
All members of the Academy staff are born-again believers, practicing Biblical principles in their daily walk, and are competent, committed, trained, qualified, and prepared for the education ministry. Staff members serve in Christian education as a ministry, not merely as a job. A teacher-student ratio not to exceed 1:12 ensures effective individualized instruction for each student, regardless of grade or level.
CURRICULUM
To maximize the learning process, the Academy offers a blend of individualized instruction and group instruction for each student. The finest resources available from several Christian publishers are incorporated to provide a well-rounded, quality education. Accelerated Christian Education materials are at the core of the curriculum, which also includes Alpha-Omega Publications, Bob Jones University Press, and ABeka materials. Students receive basic instruction in art and music at no additional cost. Academy students sit under the ministry of godly menpastors, evangelists, missionaries, and educatorsin the daily Chapel Services. Student progress is
monitored and evaluated regularly, including annual achievement tests to measure educational progress and relative standing with public and private school students nationally.
The Academy is operated in the facilities of Fairview Baptist Church. The well-maintained single story structure of more than 16,000 square feet is climate controlled throughout and is handicap accessible.
